Chad Valley
Chad Valley
Chad Valley are the personal outpourings of one Hugo Manuel, the balearic inclined vocalist of Oxford's Jonquil and founder member of the Blessing Force collective.

Taking a more electronic approach to sunset vibes, Hugo has made quite a splash this past summer. In his short 25 show career he's already played in Dublin, Paris, Budapest, Belgrade and Istanbul, been a big smash at In The City and supported the likes of Amiina, Mountain Goats and Foals. His music has been on every blog you can think of from Gorilla vs. Bear to Pitchfork's Forkcast, the latter of which has featured him three times in recent months and at one point in late October was the fourth most blogged about artist on the planet.

He's enjoyed a host of radio plays across the BBC and had his debut BBC session recorded for Huw Stephens' show in January 2011.

Chad Valley's debut EP is out on Service's US imprint Cascine (USA / UK / JP / Scan) and French label Maman (EU) and a follow up is slated for release this coming Spring in UK, US and Japan.
Ghost Beach
Ghost Beach
Ghost Beach are the latest pop pioneers to set the internet ablaze. Barely a year old, the New York-based duo of Josh Ocean and Eric "Doc" Mendelsohn have already perfected a retro-future aesthetic that sounds like the holy trifecta of The Police, Depeche Mode, and Daft Punk. Nowhere is this more apparent than on their self-titled debut EP released in March, as well as their recently released Modern Tongues EP. Josh plays the jilted lover with vocal panache as Eric's soaring synths, guitars and forever young harmonies are plucked right out of Neverland. Ghost Beach is more about a time than a place, and that time is now.
TideUp
TideUp
TIDEUP is a lo-fi experimental pop band based out of Orlando, Fl. The duo consisting of Ben Guzman (instrumentals) and Noelle Indovino (vocals) create a habitat of underwater dreams with melodic synths and crisp vocal leads. The landscape of TIDEUP came about from Guzman’s bedroom-recorded tracks. He moved from Milwaukee, WI to Orlando, Fl in 2009 longing for a change of scenery. As a musician for most of his life, creating new and inviting sounds has been a quest of trial and error, though never in vain. He began posting Craigslist ad’s looking for a female singer after being inspired from the track “Dove” by The Dirty Projectors. After two years of searching and almost giving up on the idea, Noelle Indovino responded to one of his ads in December of 2011. Their shared desire to create an electro experimental band kept the two working towards TIDEUP. With a background in musical theater, Indovino brings smooth, clean vocals that enhance the more gritty instrumentals.
