The Kidney Stones
The Kidney Stones
The Kidney Stones started out just like any other band; sitting in the pub at 4am, talking about accordions and St Patrick’s Day 2006. Coming from metal, ska, jazz and of course punk rock genres, an Irish pub band was the obvious solution.
The band lasted 2 years before realizing it’s potential as a genuine rock band, writing its own songs and playing more than just Irish drinking songs. The original music that spawned from the Kidney Stones in these early years melded the framework for the bold, outrageous, Guinness-soaked music that still sprouts from the Kidney Stones today.
The bands influences are once again typical; ranging from the Pogues, Pantera, Hepcat, Fear, Gypsy Kings, Rage Against the Machine and of course the great Neil Diamond. With all these influences, anything can come out of the Kidney Stones at any time. A Viking metal intro will turn into a beer slinging dance party. French accordion waltzes turn into southern rock. Irish jigs turn into, well, louder irish jigs!
On the 5 year anniversary of the band, they decided to add another key member to the band. It just so happens that the drummers soon to be wife is an amazingly talented fiddle player. It was too perfect to pass up. The Kidney Stones are now complete with a lineup of fiddle, accordion, harmonicas and of course guitar, drums and bass.
The Kidney Stones are now in their 7th year as a band, and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Coming soon to a pub near you.
Cheers!
Husky Burnette
Husky Burnette
The Blues are a religion and Brian "Husky" Burnette sho nuff preaches it. You can feel the testimony as he blends Mississippi Delta, Rock n Roll and Electric Blues. His music is gritty, soulful, southern, low-down and dirty. Husky, who hails from Chattanooga, TN, followed in the family footsteps of rockabilly kings Johnny Burnette and Dorsey Burnette, writing, recording and touring with several national artists over the years. Two of which that stand out are lead guitar for legendary singer/songwriter Roger Alan Wade and the supporting act on tour for Hank Williams III. He has shared the stage with many others such as Leon Russell, Guy Clark, T-Model Ford, Emmylou Harris, Scott H. Biram, Col J.D. Wilkes(The Legendary Shack Shakers/The Dirt Daubers), Chubby Carrier and J.J. Grey and Mofro.

In 2006, after leaving his road band, Husky Burnette set out to do his own thing, as a solo artist with a band behind him. He hit the road and toured the US, releasing the EP 'Snake Oil Salvation' on his own in 2007. In 2009, Husky won the FYI Awards 'Best Blues Band' award in Tennessee/Georgia. After signing up with Cracker Swamp Records, 2011 saw a huge step forward for Husky Burnette: the release of his first full length album entitled "Facedown In The Dirt" (named Album Of The Year by R/N/Z Magazine), the re-release of his 2007 EP "Snake Oil Salvation", and lastly, a guitar endorsement deal with Tampa, Florida’s Cigar City CBG’s company . In 2012 Cracker Swamp released two more for Husky: a split EP with The Jonny Monster Band entitled “Down and on the Split” and an acoustic EP, “The Stripped EP”.

Husky can also be found on recordings by Polecat Boogie Revival (self-titled debut EP (2004) and Everybody Loves ANTiSEEN: A Tribute To The Boys From Brutalsville (2006)), an untitled EP by Roger Alan Wade (2003), a release by label-mate Olds Sleeper, “Plainspoken” (2011) and slide guitar work in the film Anti-Horror (2005).

Husky continues to tour nationally with a band, playing up to 200+ shows a year.

Hymn For Her
Hymn For Her
Lucy Tight & Wayne Waxing are "Hymn For Her", a band that hails from anywhere they can park their trailer. H4H live, tour and record in their 16 foot, 1961 Bambi Airstream (comes with dog and baby). Their new release, 'Lucy & Wayne and THE AMAIRICAN STREAM' was entirely recorded in their classic trailer on a coast to coast U.S tour. They stopped at various campgrounds and friends driveways between shows, set up their gear in their Bambi/home recording studio, rolled tape and rocked out. Armed with 2 bullet mics, a three-stringed broom handle/cigar box, banjo, dobro, bass drum, hi-hat, and harp, this 'lil duo causes massive earthquakes wherever they play. http://www.hymnforher.com/ You Tube Video for Hymn For Her's singe "Grave" : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qTwGf4sjo4
The Bloody Jug Band
The Bloody Jug Band
Drawing inspiration from historic JUG bands of the 1920’s and 30’s as well as the darker side of Blues and Rock n’ Roll, the BLOODY JUG Band carves out its own niche in a genre of music that has never seen such a bloody incarnation...
The Goldminers
The Goldminers
The Goldminers are old school, outlaw style, good time country, so old school that they're not going to be found on your computer. They have so much stage presence they don't have to have an on-line presence!
Laney Jones and the Lively Spirits
Laney Jones and the Lively Spirits
Laney Jones is a brilliant performer with an enchanting voice and vivacious spunk, masterfully crafting songs with musical roots in classic blues and bluegrass. Laney's soaring vocal melodies and clever lyrical charms are lost on no listener, and her uncanny presence makes her at home on stage everywhere, from campfire folk gatherings to massive stages to screens of all sizes.
Kaleigh Baker
Kaleigh Baker
“Among the many gifts given with both hands to formerly local, currently New York-prowling singer-songwriter Kaleigh Baker – aside from that Swiss Army knife of a voice – is her innate grasp of momentum. On her new EP, The Weight of It All, Baker and producer Justin Beckler play the puppet masters, building suspense without ever seeming coy about it. Baker is capable of communicating volumes with a simple vocal lilt, and on the moments in which her register nose-dives headfirst into the emotional muck (“Sugardaddy”) or propels like a jet into the stratosphere (“Love Letter to a Burning Man”), she never fails to rouse the senses.” ” The Weight of It All is the roar of a soulful lioness and will go a long way toward proving to the world what Orlando’s known for a long time: Kaleigh Baker is a legend in the making.” – Justin Strout, Orlando Weekly

She takes another hit of whiskey and heads out with her band, a star sextet she's amassed from members of local jazz crew Swing in Time and Sam Rivers' Rivbea Orchestra. And then, she goes nearly deaf.

"I couldn't hear anything. I was in some weird zone," says Baker.

What happens after that moment is entirely unpredictable and nearly magical. With impeccable swagger, vocal chops as playful as Diane Schuur with a Patti Smith bent and backing musicians telekinetically linked to Baker's every whim, she shrugs off the jitters and brings the house down. Behind the enraptured masses and off to the side sits Baker's benefactor, Alexandra Sarton, that inescapable invisible hand of Orlando's female music scene, grinning knowingly and nodding her head.
Lauren Carder and The Multiple Me
Lauren Carder and The Multiple Me
Greetings! I am Lauren Carder and the Multiple Me, and I will share some about my-selves now with yourselves! I tend to write acoustic music that fits into many different genres, dealing mainly with self exploration, personal demons (equipped with police sirens), and other intimate revelations. Multiple Me comes from the concept of multiplicity within oneself, that we are not one whole being, but actually consist many fragments. (Its one of the reasons we are so crazy me thinks!) I try to present darker concepts in a fun and playful way. And love to play and sing anywhere, and anytime! (Even in my sleep!) So sit back, and enjoy the ride!
