BLACK TAXI is one of NYC's most prominent live acts, smashing an anything-goes punk ethos together with pop sensibilities, unparalleled energy, and brilliant songwriting. The result is a raucous stage show, heavy on harmonies, spitfire guitar licks, body paint, and all manner of instrumentation. Their style has been described varyingly as "grit-pop" or "dance punk", and though their songs hint at the Talking Heads, Cake, and Daft Punk, they are driven by something entirely new and infectious.
BLACK TAXI songs can be heard on radio stations from Maine to California, accompany hit TV shows, provide the soundtrack for film, and hit the airwaves on commercial airlines. They debuted on the CMJ Radio 200 at #180 and quickly rose to #110, putting their 2012 release “We Don’t Know Any Better” the #2 spot for self-released albums. Their music video "Shoeshine" was an Official Nominee for the Webby Awards, and their most recent video "Hand" debuted on AOL Music.
BLACK TAXI’s first full-length offering Things of that Nature received strong reviews in publications throughout the country. For their second full-length album they returned to The Bunker Studio to record with Aaron Nevezie, who has worked with Grammy nominated acts like The Black Keys and Danger Mouse.

The Groves
The Groves, a band built from long-term friendships and familial ties, are proud to be a Florida-bred band on the rise. With the release of their sophomore album, 2012’s ‘Pack Heavy Travel Light,’ the band has been delivering high-energy live performances throughout Florida with their sound that has been called ‘southern alt-rock,’ ‘country blues rock,’ but also ‘jammy psychedelia,’ Americana, or more simply, Rock and Roll.
The Groves write, rehearse and often record their music in a converted horse barn, turned rehearsal space, on a century old farm. This focus on the historic beauty and bounty of the land has assisted in The Groves in crafting lyrics and sounds that sometimes feel like they are coming from another time—yet always seem firmly rooted in the present.
Though the band draws from many diverse influences the result is not a variety show on stage, but a cohesive collection of powerful sonic landscapes that drive the band’s compelling live shows and hand-built success that is propelling them into their next stage of growth.

Bellows

It’s all an effort to understand something; in an attempt to figure out why. Aiming to discover answers to questions you never asked. Looking so hard that you find it, without knowing what it is.
You have to do something you wouldn’t do. Ask questions you would never ask. Be outside of yourself for a moment and see. Every artist, every person, every Human on earth is searching for this. It is inconceivable yet omnipresent. It cannot be grasped, and still, it is what we are all trying to attain. It is in that endless search, what holds the truth. There is room for all of us here. Seek and you will find.
