The Delusionaires
The Delusionaires
The Delusionaires erupted from the core of Florida at the dawn of the millennium, an unlikely yet inevitable assemblage of four of Orlando's most infamous imports: Pakistani-born bassman Nadeem Khan, Eurasian sax blaster Jim "Lil' Jimmy" Ivy, Southwestern skinsmith Brian Maguire, and Midwestern git-fiddler Artie Mondello (then performing under the name Aaron Jarvis). The impetus and sole reason for existence for the band was to function as backing for a crew of strippers in Tampa for a single performance; setting a solid pattern for plans gone awry, the nascent Delusionaires failed to disband after this performance, and soon be came a staple on the Sunshine State sleaze scene.
